E-Ledger and E-Invoice

E-ledger and e-invoice have one thing in common: delay is tied directly to a penalty. For that reason both are run against a calendar in the office.

E-ledger

  1. Once the period's records are complete, your journal and general ledger are generated.
  2. The ledger and certificate files are prepared and signed with the financial seal.
  3. Certificates are uploaded to the Revenue Administration system; the confirmation file returned after upload is kept.
  4. All uploaded ledger and certificate files are also taken into our own archive, so a copy of your ledger always exists in two places.
  5. The upload calendar is monitored period by period. A period's work is not closed until its certificate has been uploaded.

E-invoice and e-archive

  • Your incoming and outgoing invoices are pulled from the portals regularly and recorded in your file.
  • Invoices are read line by line; if the line total does not match the VAT amount stated on the invoice, it is flagged and raised with you.
  • Invoices issued in foreign currency are converted to Turkish lira using the rate on the invoice; the original currency amount is also kept.
  • Invoices subject to withholding are marked separately; they enter the VAT 2 return and the deduction tracking through that mark.
  • On return invoices, the direction of the parties is checked separately.
  • Recording the same invoice twice is blocked by the system.

Transition and obligation

When your turnover or line of business brings you within the scope of e-invoice, e-archive, e-waybill or e-ledger, the application and transition are handled on your behalf. What has to be ready before the transition date is sent to you in writing.
